2025 Domination

Beat The Odds

It’s that time of year again, Friend.

You’re making big plans, setting goals, and telling yourself:

This year will be different.

But here’s the thing…

Only 12% of people achieve their New Year’s resolutions.

But don’t let that stat discourage you.

Instead, you can beat the odds.

I’ve pulled together a few practical strategies to help you not just set your goals - but actually achieve them this year:

Pick the Right Resolution

First things first:

Your goal has to make sense.

Instead of aiming for something drastic, make it SMART:

  • Specific: Be clear about what you want.

  • Measurable: Know how you’ll track progress.

  • Achievable: Keep it realistic.

  • Relevant: Make it meaningful to you.

  • Timely: Give yourself a deadline.

One Goal at a Time

Sure, you want to do all the things all at once.

But this is how you burn yourself out and fall short.

Focus on one goal at a time.

It’s easier to build momentum this way.

Make a Plan

Now is not the time to “go with the flow”.

Write down your goal, outline the steps you’ll take to get there, and list any obstacles you might face.

A little preparation goes a long way.

Don’t Rely on Willpower Alone

Here’s the truth:

Willpower is unreliable.

Motivation fades, especially after the January hype wears off.

Instead, create habits that make success feel easy.

(Pro tip: Make your new habits fit into your current lifestyle, not the other way around.)

Take Small Steps

Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to conquer the world overnight.

Small wins lead to big victories.

Start small, build confidence, and reach new heights from there.

Avoid Repeating Past Mistakes

Look back before you look forward.

What tripped you up last year?

What worked?

What didn’t?

Learn from those wins and losses so you don’t repeat the same patterns.

This is more important than you may realize.

Refine The Circle

Want to get healthy?

Spend more time with people who prioritize their health.

Want to grow your business?

Surround yourself with driven entrepreneurs.

Your environment matters way more than you think.

Be Patient With the Process

Change doesn’t happen overnight.

Your bad habits didn’t form in a week, so don’t expect them to disappear that fast either.

Stick with it.

Progress takes time.

Don’t Quit

There are three things guaranteed in life:

Death, taxes, and roadblocks.

You’re going to face setbacks.

Life happens, and excuses are tempting.

But remember:

Persistence beats talent and luck.

If you fall off track, just get back up.

Final Thoughts

This year can be your year, so long as you approach it the right way.

Start with a clear goal, make a plan, stay consistent, and don’t quit.
