If You Lack Productivity, Open This

How to get more done in less time.

Friend, I want to share something different in this post.

I've been locked in on the motivation and mindset side of things recently.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

But I've been denying you actionable insights and tips.

Let's change that in today's email.

Here's how to get more done in less time:

Stop multitasking

It's easy to get distracted and try to work on multiple tasks.

You might think you're slick at it

But the reality is that multitasking makes you less productive.

You need to put all of your efforts into each task.

This will allow you to produce the best work in less time.

Cut your to-do list in half

Most to-do lists fail because people make them too complex.

People will use their “tough” to-do list as an excuse for not getting shit done.

Push yourself, but make it reasonable.

Turn off your notifications

Insta, TikTok, swich it all off.

Block out the noise and focus.

My phone is on Do Not Disturb 99% of the time.

I suggest you do the same, Friend.

Group similar tasks together

When we switch between various tasks

We naturally create friction.

That friction will mean an increase in time to get the hang of what you need to do.

We want to reduce the moments we encounter this "task starter friction".

You do this by similar task-grouping.

Always plan in advance

Planning out your day in advance with your calendar can help you focus on those tasks that matter most.

Track how you spend your time

It’s hard to figure out how to spend your time better if you don’t know where it’s going now.

That's where a productivity planner like mine comes in.

Monitor what tasks you’re working on each day and how much time you devote to each one.

Reallocate your time for the most important to-dos.

Reward yourself

Sometimes you just need a little extra motivation.

It’s important to reward yourself and take breaks after long periods of work.

We're human.

Not machine.
