Ships That Wait for The Perfect Winds Never Sail
Please just start.
"How do I start?"
Start small, Friend.
Run one kilometre.
Meditate for one minute.
Invest one dollar.
Skip one dessert.
Read one page.
Then challenge yourself to do more.
You'll find that doing something small often motivates you to do more and keep going.
Everything else is simply procrastination in disguise:
Asking for advice is not starting.
Seeking information is not starting.
Watching a motivational video is not starting.
Learning theory is great, but practice is what gives you the skills necessary for achieving your goals.
If you don't know how to do something, the only way you can learn how to do it is by doing it.
One step, then the next.
That’s how you create the ‘perfect’ moment.
You don’t wait for it.
Because, ironically, waiting for the "perfect" moment only guarantees you'll miss every moment.
Start messy.
Start scared.
Start tired.
Start broke.
But most of all, start now.
Literally, just START.
You can figure things out along the way.
Much love,
